The control panel explained — Amptec
- 1. Alarm Indicator
Displays when there is an error with the boiler. - 2. Heat Indicator
This indicator will illuminate GREEN as the boiler produces heat. It will show the degree of heat being applied, it will only be fully illuminated when the boiler is on full power output. As the boiler adjusts its power output to the heating demand (modulating) the indicator will alter in intensity. - 3. Call Indicator
When illuminated GREEN this indicates that there is a heating demand for the central heating from the Programmable Room Thermostat. It will flash for
approximately 2 to 3 minutes whilst the boiler undergoes a series of self diagnostic tests. When the indicator glows steady GREEN it indicates that the boiler is heating. - 4. Supply Indicator
Remains illuminated GREEN all the time the supply is present to the boiler. - 5. Temperature Control
The boiler output temperature can be adjusted from the front panel.(once set, it will not need readjusting). Minimum setting for the C series is approximately 65°C and for the U series 30°C. Maximum setting for the C series is approximately 80°C and for the U series is 60°C. - 6. Alarm Lamp Flashing Red
Flashing RED indicates no water, refill and restart the system.- Switch OFF the electrical supply.
- Correct the fault, check the system is full of water and set to the correct pressure (sealed systems) and there is a good flow of water (i.e. all the valves are open).
- Switch the supply back ON.
